2. In these rules, unless there be something repugnant in the subject or context:-

(6) in the case of other imports, under the special orders of the Board to be obtained in
each case.

Every consignment of the articles imported under this rule shall be transported under cover of the receipt granted on payment of customs duty or under the special order of the Board, as the case may be.

Intoxicating drugs other than those used for smoking may be retailed under license from the Collector, and in accordance with the conditions specified in the license, provided that sale by a licensed druggist is for medicinal purposes only.

TRANSPORT.

* The transport from one place to another within the Presidency of Bombay of any quantity of *
*morphia exceeding ton grains or any prepa ration containing more than ten grains of morphia in weight is prohibited, except under cover of a permit.

8. Except in the case of transport from one place to another within the town of Bombay or within any district, no such permit shall be granted unless the person applying for it ein produce a written permission so to apply

Intoxicating drugs other than those used for smoking may be sold wholesale by licensed chemists in the town of Madras only--
*

*
*
(a) to other licensed chemists in the town of Madras or to druggists within the Presi
dency;
(3) to Government, Municipal, Local Fund or Mission Hospitals;
Provided that for the transport from the City of Bombay or Karachi of preparations of opium for bona fide medical purposes, it shall not be necessary to produce a written permission signed by the Collector of the district to which a transport is applied for *
